在2025年全國「工業工程與管理」大學生專題論文與技術報告競賽中,明志科技大學工業工程與管理系表現優異、成果斐然,分別在「人因工程與設計組」與「技術報告組」榮獲第一名與佳作的佳績,展現本系學生在學術研究與實務應用的卓越實力。

In the 2025 National Undergraduate Project Thesis and Technical Report Competition in Industrial Engineering and Management, the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at Ming Chi University of Technology has achieved outstanding success. The department secured top honors, winning First Place in the "Human Factors Engineering and Design" category and an Honorable Mention in the "Technical Report" category, showcasing the exceptional abilities of our students in both academic research and practical application.

另一組學生團隊則由「王建智 教授」的指導下,率領林家筠許乃文王潔怡三位學生以永續發展為核心,發表作品「應用機器學習於碳排量預測之實務研究」。該研究考量中小企業在減碳轉型過程中缺乏有效工具進行碳排管理,因此導入機器學習方法(如Bayesian Ridge Regression、Huber Regression與Ridge Regression)建立碳排預測模型,並進行模型效能評估與參數調整。研究成果可提供企業預測其營運下的碳排放趨勢,進而擬定減碳策略與精準決策,具備高度應用潛力與社會影響力,因此榮獲技術報告組「佳作」肯定。

Another student team, supervised by Professor Chien-Chih Wang, earned recognition for their work centered on sustainable development. The team, consisting of students Lin Chia-Yun, Hsu Nai-Wen, and Wang Chieh-Yi, presented their project titled "A Practical Study on Applying Machine Learning to Carbon Emission Prediction." Their research addresses the challenge faced by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which often lack effective tools for carbon management during their transition to low-carbon operations. In response, the team implemented machine learning methods (such as Bayesian Ridge Regression, Huber Regression, and Ridge Regression) to build a predictive model for carbon emissions, followed by performance evaluation and parameter tuning. The study's results can help businesses forecast their carbon emission trends under various operational scenarios, enabling them to formulate effective reduction strategies and make precise decisions. The project was awarded an Honorable Mention in the Technical Report category for its high application potential and social impact.

 

此次得獎作品不僅展現學生在人因工程、資料分析、AI技術與永續管理等領域的跨域整合能力,也體現工管系長期重視「理論與實務結合」的教學理念。在指導老師群的專業帶領下,學生團隊能夠從生活中發掘問題、以數據驅動研究、並提出具體解方,正是本系教育成果的最佳展現。

This award-winning project not only highlights the students' interdisciplinary skills in integrating human factors engineering, data analysis, AI technology, and sustainable management, but also embodies the department's long-standing educational philosophy of "integrating theory with practice." Under the professional guidance of our faculty, the student team's ability to identify problems in daily life, conduct data-driven research, and develop tangible solutions is a prime testament to the success of our department's educational outcomes.
